I wasn't able to knit when the orignial cottonease was available and missed all those gorgeous colors/shades. I esp love the blues (Popsicle and Blueberry, esp).

I found some yellows at a dollar store and have some Banana cream and traded the Pineapple.

Good job on socks and hat.
HUGS
Susansusanmarkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10428331575999332970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4223623511418769645.post-30055381968309647032010-05-26T11:22:26.975-07:002010-05-26T11:22:26.975-07:00Liz, this is the only heel that I've tried thu...Liz, this is the only heel that I've tried thus far...but do have plans to learn many more. Toe up socks, have an appeal when you want to use a shorter amount of sock yarn. I've been watching Wendy's progress over time as she talked about it on her blog. I have very long list of patterns and sock yarn that is in my to-do pile. Your suggestion is not in good company! Look up the Provincial Cast On (crocheted chain)--this starts you out and gives you that, what can I call -- looks like the Yarn Harlot did it look? It comes in handy when yarn is in short supply.

I've only learned the short row heal.
