As Promised

As I promised yesterday, here's the post blocking pictures of the Hail to the ... Kitchen Hanging Hand Towel. I 'spray' blocked it. Meaning, I used a spray bottle on the back of the knitting, flipped it upside down on the thick terry towel, and used a hot iron carefully from the back side. That makes the picture 'pop' on the front-the terry gives the stitches room to sink down into when you iron it from the back side.

Here's a close up of the block M...I promise that I had taken the two pictures at the same time, but the lighting on the 2nd picture outdoors looks funny. The color is much closer in the top picture. I used Lion Cotton in the Sunflower color.

This morning I also threw together another of Cathy's Beanies (pattern in the list over to the left <-----) in the large size. Daughter's boyfriend is coming with us to my parent's house for Thanksgiving. Last night it was 34*F BEFORE it got to it's coldest...poor kid is in for some temperature shock! AND, according to my Dad, there's a rumor that 12" of snow is expected before Thanksgiving! OH BOY! Isn't that going to be fun with the flight schedules?

OK, back to the hat. I used Paton's Classic Wool, in Bottle Green and Black. Easy peasy. Just so long as it does NOT hit the washer and dryer!

Everyone have your favorite game day snacks ready for the game tomorrow? I guess there's nothing left to say...except....GO BLUE!!! I'll be here working on what else? BABY BLANKETS! Especially since there's a brand new baby over in the Ann Arbor area who joined our family at 6:00 AM this morning! And I'm 'NOT EXACTLY' finished with her blanket or her BSJ! *OPPS!*

GO BLUE!!!
