These days, there has been a lot of knitting going on at my house. However, a lot of it I can't show you. Yet. But this weekend I knit up another scarf. I worked on it Friday evening, Saturday in a couple of segments, and then this morning. Why? I wanted to avoid shipping it for Christmas. Hand delivery is always best. Right? At least it saves you more money for yarn. ;-) I picked my A Little Bit of Cable Scarf and used two skeins of Hobby Lobby's I Love this Yarn! It weighed in at 400 grams. Which if you read the label makes it 2. 02 skeins of yarn. Go figure. And that's without the fringe. Good thing I opted out, since there wasn't much left in the end.
The finished size ended up at 8 1/2" x 70". This yarn is more like an aran weight rather than a light worsted yarn that I knit the first scarf with. I do like the way this knit up so quickly and how soft it is. I may have to rethink how long it should be to knit more of these? Darn the to-do list!

What a terrific scarf Cathy! Is this your own pattern? Thanks for sharing. I've started on the Snowtracks Cap

& I think scarf will go perfect with it.
Thanks, Yes Ma'am it certainly is! I didn't put the fringe on it this time, like I did when I knit the first one for my niece. I'm thinking I like it both ways.
Ohh I love it! We just got a new Hobby Lobby near me, cannot wait to get some I love this yarn..Thanks for sharing Cathy as always love your stuff. Your my knitting inspiration.
Don't forget-they now have online ordering, too! So if you want more than what they have in stock, you can order it! I have been known to order 'a few' from them over time! ;-)
Such a beautiful scarf! I think fringe might distract from the handsome cable work. Lovely work!
