in row 79 ... what is M1? plus wouldnt that be 59 sts? I just want to do it right and I'm still learning all the abbreviations. haha.. I hope you still check this site since this is dated 2008.. lol

M1 is Make one which then increases the count to 59. Enjoy! (Yes I get messages every time someone leaves a comment).

I love this towel.I'm knitting one now.I'm a new knitter.when pattern states k4 yo s1 k1 Paso which way do I s1 purl wise or knitwear?
just have a question about s1 do you slip knit or purl wise on rows 84-94?
At the beginning of a row I sl 1 knit wise. For a sl 1 k1 psso, purl wise.
The slipping of a stitch at the beginning of a row is sometimes slipped purl wise by others. It's a personal preference.
